How it works
License models in detail
Time units
A week is 7 calendar days (168 hours), a day is 24 hours. The clock runs from the moment you start a unit – not from midnight and not by working days.
Start at login
At login the platform asks whether you want to start your weekly access or activate a week or a day from your credit. The term only begins once you confirm. While a unit is running, you are not asked again.
Weekly access
The booked weeks run consecutively from the first confirmed login. If you need a little more time at the end, extend seamlessly by single days or weeks – as long as the access is still running.
Week and day cards
Your credit is ready until you need it. Weeks and days do not have to be consecutive. The 365-day validity starts with the first activation. Day cards are used up; if you need more, simply buy a new package.
Start deadline
Purchased accesses and cards must be started for the first time within 12 months of payment. We remind you by e-mail in good time.
Projects
An access is not limited to one project. Within an active access you create as many projects as you like and work on them in parallel.
Roles and seats
Every access includes 1 administrator, 1 reviewer, 1 engineer and 3 viewers. Book additional seats for the whole term in the offer or flexibly when activating single weeks and days.
Usage
The platform is designed for intensive HAZOP work. There are no counters for requests or analyses; usage is subject to a generously sized fair-use allowance.
Offer and payment
You receive an individual offer with your preferred license start, valid for 14 days. Access is unlocked after payment (payment in advance). The SaaS terms of HAIZOP GmbH apply.

Is a HAZOP study mandatory for my plant?
It depends on the plant type and substance inventory. Plants subject to monitoring under BetrSichV, establishments under Seveso III and plants in explosive atmospheres under ATEX are subject to different obligations. HAIZOP helps link deviations with relevant citations — the legal classification stays with you and your specialist advisors.
Does HAIZOP cover hydrogen and PtX plants?
Yes. HAIZOP includes PtX-specific equipment context such as electrolysers, fuel cells, methanation reactors, CO₂ capture, ammonia crackers and membrane separation — with their typical failure modes and safeguards.
